Trevor and Chaucer Circle in Durham, several trees fell, including minimal damage, but fell on the car Jerry Dodd minutes after his wife returned home.
“Fortunately, she was fine,” Dodd said. “She was inside with the dogs and the wind became so intense that it goes in the cupboard under the stairs with dogs and hear real accident.”
In Granville County, the house was destroyed in the Huntsboro community near the Henderson-Oxford Airport. Several other houses were damaged.
